If she's the god of a nation instead of a world then she might be more of a demi-god. Either way, I think a god could handle the mist as long as we're with her.

Normally Peony's abilities would be useful for traveling places quickly, but none of them work in the mist. And if Aides comes then Pegasus would come too.

I wonder. If we left a ring of sunflowers planted and activated to repel the mist in a small area, out of the way of monsters...would that area be clear to use our powers in? Could a Peony open a portal within it?
The time window's a little narrow since sunflowers drain in a day, but if we were able to keep replenishing them through that, it might finally establish a beachhead in the mist.
I wanted to try planting some just inside of the mist to see if they'd still work and not die so quickly. We could test it one day when we're all free, couldn't we? It would take some time, but if we can plant a ring of sunflowers right inside of the mist and see if our powers work, we could work it into any escape routes.
The greenhouse might actually be more difficult, just because, well. It's close quarters, and I think the mist wolves might actually be part of the essential ecosystem to grow wolfsbane in there.
But the edge sounds fine, if our beseiging friends have properly withdrawn.
A few other people are planning on using the greenhouse, so I wouldn't want to get in the way of their experiments either. Right inside of the mist shouldn't be any trouble.
Now that we know for sure there are people living out there and that most of them are out to get us, I feel like things are going to get a lot more interesting around here.
Or at least a few more of the people who helped Naythan. I did try to talk Miss Bea into working with us, but she wasn't interested. Whatever the current boss is offering them is enough to keep them loyal to the cause.
I'm not positive that the Wolf King and the new guy--Ceo? Are necessarily "on the same side". The Wolf King is a shambling mass of anger and resentment that's swallowing up anything that gets in his way. Ceo might have something more in mind than just revenge. And there might be people within his faction that aren't interested in his goals.
Back some weeks...when Patches broke the fence. I tried to use Lily's power on one of the mist wolves, to pull it aside or send it away, or similar. Something resisted me, and also spoke to me through the connection that created.
I thought it was the Wolf King, but it might have been Ceo.

Would the rest of Peony want to come on such a trip? Or trips, as it were. These locations would all be far apart and deep in.
We need wolfsbane too...even with the greenhouse we can't propagate a pasturewide stock from two plants.
[also i the player don't know if those two plants are even alive tbh. it's been so long since they were gathered even in IC time]
