I do plan on that, yes. Though I fully minimize Red questing; probably I’d only come back to him if I wanted another Rune for someone.

More variety wouldn't hurt, but I'm only barely compatible with a handful as it is.

Could you use one to power devices? Not that I have any plans that'd need that right now, but...

I think it would depend partly on your own ingenuity. I don't really know how one pulls the power out of a Rune or Rune shards on a continual basis, though I do know it's possible.

My knowledge of them is geared more toward combat applications, not engineering. But I'd provide you one if you thought it would be of especial use.

A lot of magical items are powered by magestones back home; I dunno how a rune would measure up but it might be fun to see. Still probably not worth a Red visit.
